Finally...
I've finished my video of my exchange and travels to Japan this past May to June. Let me tell you what this shaky - over exposed - odd video won't tell you. Japan is AMAZING. So many things to do, places to see, and food to eat. I met so many good people and made friends that I know will last me a life time. This exchange was a dream come true for me. I've always wanted to go to Japan and I was given the opportunity and I TOOK IT. Of course not as aggressive as the caps indicate though.

Brown Much
An OOTD post from waaay back when...there wasn't any snow on the ground and it was still appropriate to wear turtle neck dresses with no tights. Obviously I'm still obsessing over muted browns, greys, blacks, and beiges - but who can't? They're such good basic colours you can't go wrong. I'm also still reeling over how Oak+Fort carries amazing minimal pieces. Forever love.
Anyway there's snow to stay in #yyc so I've been more bundled up like a steamed bun...heh I wish. At least its t-minus 13 days until Hong Kong! Woot!

Minimalism + Shopping???
Did my first shoot/styling with my wifey this past weekend decked out in Oak+Fort, Kim Chi Blue and Forever21. Truthfully I didn't enjoy styling until this shoot! Once I got an idea in my head for a look I wanted to photograph I just got into zone ha ha. Since I've been diggin' the whole minimal look - that is what this shoot became of. Major whites, beiges and browns with dark accents. This shoot was also done completely by my iPhone 5s. Anyway enjoy le pics!!!

Mountain Time
So jokes about coming back in November. Last sunday I decided to do an impromptu fashion shoot and hike at the same time with the family. Woot - two birds with one stone. However it was a cold and tiring one at that. It was totes worth it though, we got to spend some much needed family time (minus one twin) and see amazing views. Sadly, I was too concentrated on getting "hip" and "cool" shots that I didn't take any of photographs of the scenery. Don't get me wrong though, after the shoot we enjoyed the view by having a little picnic on top of that gigantic rock.
Anyway if anyone cares, I've deleted my older posts because I didn't like how they were and wanted to start a new~ OoooOOooo. Life is going pretty well, difficult but well. Finished my undergrad degree and will be walking the stage in about a month. Going back to HK to be reunited with my mister in two months. Applied to ALT jobs in Japan. Working as an administrative assistant at a Italian restaurant. Got a new gig at Oak&Fort (hence the shoot with that dashing grid dress) - all in all it's been a crazy good 'past-couple-of-months' since I've come back from Asia.
So what's the point of this blog now, for me it will be my outlet of my creativity and my journal of my life. I want it pretty though, so hopefully my posts will be thoughtful and have effort in it. I'm still in the works for Clothestand too so watch out ha ha ha. Enjoy le pics~
